Noor Al-Sibai, writer, researcher and interviewer

I’m a junior double-majored in mass communications and international studies. I wrote for the UNCA paper, the Blue Banner, interned at the Asheville Citizen-Times in the Editorial section, and am currently conducting an internship with the Asheville Grown Business Alliance (the ones that make the “Love Asheville” signs and stickers).  Although my concentration is on international and Middle Eastern journalism, I’m also very interested in researching and documenting the problems and nuances of poverty in Western North Carolina.
My roles in this project include writing, interviewing and researching. I’m so excited and proud to be working on this documentary project!
